Shanker Keshavdas
Shanker plays the bass guitar and works as a researcher in the field of robotics. He has played in various rock and punk bands in India, where he is originally from; the UK and Spain. He has diverse musical interests including jazz, from avante-garde to acid jazz; rock, from 60s psychedelic to 80s thrash metal; funk and even electronic music! He likes coming up with creative bass lines and his bass playing is largely influenced by the funk movement of the 70s, of which he is a huge fan. When he’s not playing music or tinkering with robots, he indulges his other interests such as theatre, travelling and reading books.
