Libor Mikeska
Libor Mikeska
Australian guitarist and songwriter Libor Mikeska teaches English at Saarland University to finance his passion for collecting and playing rare old Japanese Epiphone semi-acoustic and jazz guitars. When he can tear himself away from his guitars, he spends his time writing surrealistic novels about life and love in places as diverse as Melbourne and Prague. He has a weakness for the early sixties, its fashion, style and music. His compositions are inspired by the 80s Australian independent music scene (Sunnyboys, The Church, The Stems, Hummingbirds amongst others) as well as by bands such as The Jam, Oasis, The Easybeats, The Primitives and late 50s jazz.
